Welcome to week 2 track 2 for 2024

This month of January is all about preparing for the rest of the year ahead. It’s about taking control of the strategies and goals and setting our focus on the new challenges we want to overcome.

I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, I would much rather set new goals or decide which areas to focus on in my life / careers etc. I find resolutions last as long as the new year feeling, then it gets lost somewhere after Easter holidays haha. That’s for me anyway.

Whereas I feel like setting a new goal for the year or deciding where you want to put your attention and focus for the year, tends to keep you going throughout the entire year and also works as a solid base to reset from if things get tough or you end up getting side tracked.

This week, I want to share a special edition track with you guys.
This one was made for a special sports segment with formula1 alongside the Silverstone GP and Canada GP Recap Freestyles, which you can hear on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other streaming platforms.


I’ll be honest this one didn’t make the cut the first time round but I’m hoping it’s not too late to be featured in this new seasons content.

Some of you will be able to tell when this track was made it made. Extra props if you remember the GP.

This is the week 2 drop because I feel like with everyone getting back to work and back into the regular routine, we need a little up beat motivation. A track to carry us though those dull parts of the work day.
A reminder that we always have to be ready to take our chances.

Musically, this one started with the beat first. I wanted something that sounded high speed and gave the feeling of moving parts working together. At the time of making it, I wasn’t sure if the beat would be assigned to this project or another song that I was working on at the time.
Lyrically, the task was to accurately deliver a gripping recap freestyle. Also with an event like f1 it’s important to be accurate with the correct context and subject matter.
